Went to Orlando and got to hear the cancer speaker I really wanted to hear. Met a gentleman from West Palm Beach that I have worked with and who is one of the most devoted to the cancer cause, Bill Sklar.

His wife Lori passed away of ovarian cancer and he carries on the work to raise awareness of the BRCA gene mutations, the cancers they cause (primarily breast and ovary), research to treat patients with them. He is tireless. Serendipity! I also met the founders of Bright Pink, an organization with similar goals aimed at helping young women, "previvors" as we call them, who have the gene mutations and have not had cancer - yet.

There were hundreds of women and some men at this event and the energy was amazing. I want to be there next year representing Dr. Melanie Bone and Dr. Bone's Cancer Comforts. So happy that I was able to be there.
